Who is responsible

The short version

• Your pet's photo never leaves your device. It is only used to draw the card in your browser.
• The free reading is calculated in your browser. We don't receive your pet's details for it.
• We use no advertising, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.
• We only store data when you sign in, join the waitlist or request a full reading.

What we process, and why

1. Hosting and security (Cloudflare)

The site runs on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you visit, your browser sends technical data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. Cloudflare processes this to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

2. Anonymous usage counters

We count events such as "a free reading was made" or "the full-reading offer was shown" per day. These counters contain no personal data and use no cookies.

3. Full readings (AI)

If you request a full reading, we send your pet's name, species, pronoun, birthday (or gotcha day), the quirks you typed and, if you entered it, your birthday, to an AI model to write the text. This goes through OpenRouter (OpenRouter, Inc., USA) to the model provider (for example Anthropic or Google). We don't send your email, account or photo. Legal basis: providing the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

4. Account and saved readings (Supabase)

If you sign in, we store your email address and the readings you create, so you can see them again. Sign-in links are sent by email. Data is stored with Supabase (Supabase, Inc.) on servers in the EU (Ireland). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

5. Waitlist

If you join the waitlist for the full reading, we store your email address and pet's name and email you once when full readings launch. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us. We delete waitlist entries after the launch email, or earlier on request.

6. Internal notifications

When someone signs up or joins the waitlist, we receive a private notification in Discord (Discord Inc., USA) with a masked email (e.g. "ro•••@example.com") and the pet's name. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary: after you sign in, session cookies keep you signed in. No consent is needed for these (§ 25(2) TDDDG). Fonts are served from our own domain; we don't load anything from Google.

How long we keep data

Account data and saved readings: until you delete your account. Waitlist: until the launch email (or until you withdraw consent). Server logs: as briefly as Cloudflare's security processing requires.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email rockey5520.apps@gmail.com. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live or the one responsible for us in Germany.

There is no automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects. Readings are for entertainment only.

Verarbeitungen

• Hosting und Sicherheit: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) verarbeitet technische Zugriffsdaten (z. B. IP-Adresse) zur Auslieferung und zum Schutz der Website. Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO; EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
• Anonyme Zähler: tägliche Ereigniszählungen ohne personenbezogene Daten und ohne Cookies.
• Ausführliche Deutung (KI): Name, Art, Pronomen und Geburtstag des Tieres, Ihre Eingaben zu seinen Eigenheiten und optional Ihr Geburtstag werden über OpenRouter, Inc. (USA) an ein KI-Modell (z. B. Anthropic, Google) übermittelt. Keine E-Mail, kein Konto, kein Foto. Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO; Data Privacy Framework bzw. Standardvertragsklauseln.
• Konto und gespeicherte Deutungen: E-Mail-Adresse und Deutungen bei Supabase, Inc., Server in der EU (Irland). Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO. Löschung jederzeit auf Anfrage.
• Warteliste: E-Mail-Adresse und Name des Tieres; einmalige Benachrichtigung zum Start. Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO), jederzeit per E-Mail widerrufbar.
• Interne Benachrichtigungen: maskierte E-Mail-Adresse und Tiername in einem privaten Discord-Kanal (Discord Inc., USA). Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
• Cookies: nur technisch notwendige Sitzungs-Cookies nach der Anmeldung (§ 25 Abs. 2 TDDDG). Schriftarten werden von unserer eigenen Domain geladen.

Speicherdauer

Kontodaten und Deutungen bis zur Löschung des Kontos; Warteliste bis zur Start-E-Mail bzw. bis zum Widerruf; Server-Logs nur so lange, wie Cloudflare sie zur Sicherheit benötigt.

Ihre Rechte

Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit, Widerspruch und Widerruf erteilter Einwilligungen per E-Mail an rockey5520.apps@gmail.com. Sie können sich außerdem bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde beschweren. Es findet keine automatisierte Entscheidungsfindung mit rechtlicher Wirkung statt; die Deutungen dienen der Unterhaltung.
